Timing is Everything

When You Post is Nearly as Important as What You Post

When it comes to posting to Facebook there a many nuances to take into account that can make the difference between success and failure.

One important factor is the time of day that you post.  Your goal of course is to reach your key demographic and Followers and to reach as many of them as possible with each post.  To do that you need to plan your posts to hit their timelines during the times they are most likely to be active on Social Media.  Otherwise, your posts may reach their timelines, but be buried so far down their pages that they will likely never see them.    By using your Facebook page Insights, you can determine when specific segments of your Followers are more likely to be active on Facebook.  That knowledge enables you to plan or schedule your posts for those specific time periods.  If you have a diverse audience, and products or services that appeal to specifics groups within your Audience, you might even consider planning posts at various times for difference products or services that are more likely to appeal to each segment of your audience.

A general rule of thumb is to plan your most important posts during the early evening.  Most people will be home and more likely to be active on Social Media then.  Depending on whether you are targeting a local audience or a national audience will determine the length of time "early evening' is.  If your audience is in one time zone, then "early evening" will typically be from around 5-8:30 pm.  If you are trying to reach a national audience you may want to post from 5 pm to 11 pm EST or later to reach each time zone's "early evening."
"Timing is Everything" when it comes to successfully sharing your posts with your key audience.  Experiment to determine which times reap you the most Facebook Reach and success!

If you are a small business owner, whether your business is an established business or a new one, it's helpful to recognize and remember that you are doing your very best. You probably work very long hours, managing all aspects of your business, just as I do. It's also important to realize that when it comes to the realm of digital advertising and promotion, that it's a constantly changing landscape. Keeping on top of the latest innovations in Social Media and Digital Marketing is a continual challenge even for a digital marketing agency, let alone for the local plumber, baker or restaurant owner. The question then is how can the average business owner take advantage of the latest improvements and innovations, or whether those new strategies are even right for their business? Community Advertising LLC is committed to the success of all of our clients. We continually study the latest trends in digital marketing, so we can keep our Clients informed of their options. We know that what may work for one type of business, may not be the best digital marketing strategy for another type of business. We want to see every business we work with succeed, because we see their success as ours. As such, when you meet with us, we'll spend a lot of time finding out as much about your business as possible. We'll want to know what your key issues, problems and concerns are so we can determine whether we can offer you the solutions you'll need to overcome those challenges to grow your business. At the end of our meeting, if we can make a positive difference for your business, we'll share the ways we can help, simply explaining how we can help you address each problem. That way you'll know your options, so you can decide the next steps. If we determine we're not able to provide you the best possible solutions to your needs, we'll tell you that too, and suggest who might be able to help. Community Advertising LLC is committed to the success of all of our clients. If you'd like to schedule a meeting, give us a call or message us today!
